Life in the Library...
Libraries are the heart of a school--reading advocacy, developing research and information processing skills, professional development for teachers, and teaching and using new technologies. The library is a support for everyone else in the building and therefore, the librarian is the one person that interacts with every person in the building--every student and every staff member.
Libraries house books, but also a place to meet for staff and students. Libraries are also virtual--allowing 24 hour access for research over our databases.
School libraries are also an important part of the community--reaching out to the town library and to parents of our students.
